Apply for a postdoctoral fellowship to join the Resilient Families and Youth lab and the Project P.A.Th.S. team in the Department of Psychology at Georgia State University. The fellow will work on a multi-site, multi-method, longitudinal study funded by the National Science Foundation (PI: Ciara Smalls Glover, Ph.D.), Project P.A.Th.S: Persisting, Achieving, and Thriving in STEM.
The project examines the intersection of ecological contexts over time on STEMcollege students’ motivation, persistence, and positive development.
The fellow will have opportunities to receive mentorship in grant proposals, manuscripts, presentations, longitudinal recruitment, and cultural resilience frameworks. Responsibilities: • Prepare manuscripts, grant applications, and presentations at professional conferences • Work collaboratively and independently with the team • Plan and design project outreach and knowledge dissemination
Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Psychology, Social Science, Quantitative, Education, Public Health, or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
